"Miss Kitty " Meets "Tweet-Tweet"

“Well, look at you, little critter!
You’re the strangest creature I’ve seen,

In my travels to the children’s park,
and to places in between!

May I Come Closer, Please?

“Let me come a little closer,
may I touch your quite odd fur?

And, tell me, little critter,
do you know how to purr?

"Ruffled Feathers"?

Oops, what’s all this rough stuff,
back here on your caboose?

And am I dreaming, or are you,
in fact, a bit chartreuse?”

Green! I Think You're GREEN!

“Yes, oh yes, it occurs to me,
that you, poor thing, are green!

And what's more, you are lumpier
than a round, fat lima bean!”

Hocus-Pocus? Or, Abacadabra?

“Well, new pal, it’s nap time,
and perhaps, you’re just a dream

For, this I know~ and this is sure:
Some things aren’t what they seem!”

Enter Anna-Kate, With Her Grand Piano!

“Now maybe, while I’m snoozing,
I’ll dream of Anna-Kate,

Playing her piano!
Ah, there’s a twist of fate!”

LOOK! "Tweet-Tweet Speaks, TOO!

“Well, Miss Kitty, go on sleeping,
if you insist you must

While I keep watch, amazed that you’re
a kitty I can trust!”

Might We Make Music, Together?

Look at me, and tell me,
Have you never seen a bird?

And have you noted my ‘tweet-tweet-tweet’?
That's music that you heard!”

I Know A Secret!

Yes, Kitty, just relax, a while;
let’s take this nice and slow--

For, birdies and kitties aren’t often friends,
Though, I’ll not tell you so!”

Are you SNORING, Miss Kitty?

“And, maybe I too, will nap a while,
nuzzled in your soft hair

Contented, for sure, my new-found friend,
that you are not a bear!”

Now, Who's Snoozing And Who's Awake?

Uh-oh! Guess you are not a dream,
Because, look... you're still here!

Then, go on resting, sleepy-head,
there’s nothing you should fear.”

Friends Keep Each Other's Secrets!

And did I, (off in Dream-Land)
hear that you’re "Tweet-Tweet," the bird?

Well, I shall keep your secret,
telling not a single word!”

Best Friends, Forever!

"Yes, let’s forget our differences,
For, on that, friendship depends!

And let us both agree that we
will be the best of friends! "

Miss Kitty & Tweet-Tweet LOVE Shared Laughter!

In the end, "Miss Kitty" & "Tweet-Tweet",
lived happily ever after--

Celebrating their differences,
in their red home, filled with laughter!
